You have just built the shortlist when the client asks for every creator’s contact details. You worry the conversations will become disconnected. The client may simply want to review the selection or prepare to take over the next campaign.

[An agency team raised a similar question in a community discussion](https://www.reddit.com/r/influencermarketing/comments/1pfusv6/how%5Fto%5Fhandle%5Fclient%5Frequests%5Ffor%5Finfluencer/?ref=blog.onecrewai.io). Clarify what the request is for, then organize the material, ownership and timing within the agreed working arrangement.

## Ask what the client needs to review or take over

The client may be checking brand fit, approving a budget or preparing to contact creators directly. Candidate review needs public profiles and selection evidence. A communication handoff needs current terms and the next action.

Use this copyable handoff question template:

> Is this information for shortlist approval, or will \[client or brand team\] take over the creator conversations?

Have the project owner check the existing arrangement and the approved sharing scope.

[OneCrew](https://onecrewai.io/resources/user-guide?ref=blog.onecrewai.io) is an AI workspace for finding creators, saving leads and organizing outreach communication. Within the material you are authorized to use, ask your connected AI to organize profiles, matching evidence and current progress into a summary for review. The client can inspect the reasoning without reconstructing the status from a whole email chain.

For a public-source candidate handoff, the Twitter/X results below show accounts, content evidence, fit assessments and public contact routes separately. This commuter-backpack and bag-organization search includes individuals, an editorial team and partial matches. Retain those distinctions, then add confirmed terms, ownership and the next action separately.

OneCrew: compare creator fit and contact options.

## Prepare the information needed for that purpose

For selection review, provide the account, public source, product fit and decision needed from the client. For a handoff, add the business entry point, confirmed conditions, latest meaningful reply and pending actions within the agreed scope.

Keep unrelated client information, internal assessments and private material out of the handoff. Confirm what will be shared and how. Record the source and verification date even for a public business contact.

Use the relevant OneCrew contact information and correspondence as the starting point. Ask AI to create a summary limited to the approved scope and identify supporting messages for the conditions. Review each item before sharing, reducing the chance of forwarding unrelated information with an email thread.

## Decide who sends the next email

A list can be transferred while both teams still believe they own the conversation. That creates duplicate replies and potentially different statements about price or timing. Specify the switch date, external contact person and owner of the next action.

Where appropriate, introduce the new teammate in a clear handoff email and preserve the conditions already confirmed. Treat new requests as new items rather than reopening everything.

Review the latest meaningful communication in OneCrew and ask AI to prepare a handoff draft containing the new owner, open question and relevant material. After review and sending, check the follow-up arrangement so the next reply has an owner.

OneCrew: prepare a handoff template with owners and open questions.

| Stage | What to confirm |
| ---------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| Purpose | Shortlist review, approval or communication handoff |
| Information | Approved fields, sources and evidence for terms |
| Ownership change | Timing, contact person and next-email owner |
| Completion | Receiving teammate can explain and continue the work |

## Confirm that the receiving person can continue

Ask the receiving teammate to inspect one creator and explain the current status, evidence for the latest conditions and next step. If they still need to ask why a quote was prepared that way, fill in the missing context.

Use the relevant OneCrew records to prepare a list of remaining confirmations and tasks, then have the responsible teammate check it. Additional sharing requests can be agreed separately rather than silently expanding the original handoff.

Use OneCrew to prepare one small handoff summary for an active creator: public information, confirmed conditions and a clear next action. Once both teams agree on the information and responsibilities, apply that approach to the rest of the list.
