A sponsored video attracts a product correction, an order complaint and a comment saying the ad is annoying. If the brand and creator answer independently, they may give conflicting replies. If each waits for the other, actionable problems go unanswered. Sort the comments first, then assign fact-checking, the public reply and follow-through.

A [brand's public discussion](https://www.reddit.com/r/SocialMediaMarketing/comments/1qbzjik/a%5Fbad%5Finfluencer%5Fcollab%5Fthat%5Factually%5Fhurt%5Four/?ref=blog.onecrewai.io) described negative comments after a collaboration and concern about sales. That account does not establish that the comments caused a sales change. It does expose a practical coordination problem: who should answer, and what must be checked first?

## Distinguish facts, service issues and opinions

An incorrect specification needs verification and correction. An individual order problem needs the brand's service channel. A preference about presentation may or may not warrant a reply. One generic apology does not fit all three, and neither side should confirm or deny a factual claim before checking it.

OneCrew is a workspace for organizing creator information, collaboration records and email. Save representative comment links, the issue type, the person checking it and the agreed response in a table. Refer to the product wording approved during the collaboration so the team is discussing the same claim with the same context.

## Assign the next action, not just a general owner

| Comment | Who checks it first? | Response direction |
| ------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| Specification or demonstration error | Brand product owner, with the creator as needed | State the verified fact and decide on a content correction |
| Order or service problem | Brand customer support | Provide the official service route for private follow-up |
| Question about personal experience | The creator who had that experience | Answer from what they can actually confirm |
| Style preference or broad criticism | Both parties assess whether a reply is useful | Keep it brief or leave room for the opinion |

Do not request order numbers, addresses or phone numbers in public comments. Handle threats, harassment or exposed personal information through the platform's applicable reporting and moderation process. Ordinary criticism is not a policy violation simply because it is unfavorable.

Verify the issue, then assign the reply and follow-through.

## Agree on the facts before drafting the reply

Preserve the original comment and context. List verified information, unresolved points and the next update time. If there is an error, identify the incorrect statement and its correction. Route safety concerns to the appropriate brand owner instead of asking the creator to guess the cause or promise an outcome.

Give your connected AI those confirmed details to prepare a coordination email through OneCrew. Ask the creator to check the parts they know, then have the designated owner approve the public response. A draft must not invent a refund, a resolution or an unapproved commitment.

## Use a response that matches the issue

> Fact check in progress: Thanks for flagging \[specific statement\]. We are checking it with \[responsible team\] and will update this by \[feasible time\]. What we have confirmed so far is \[fact\].
>
> Individual order: We are sorry the experience fell short. Please contact \[official support channel\] so the team can check the details privately. There is no need to post order or personal information here.

Use only times and channels the team can honor. If the video needs changing, separately agree the correction and publication steps. “Delete the video” is not a substitute for identifying the problem. The [video feedback checklist](https://blog.onecrewai.io/en/consolidate-influencer-video-feedback/) can help combine scattered requests into one actionable list.

## Record what happened after the reply

Save the response link, remaining questions and next follow-up owner. Fewer comments do not prove resolution, and solving one order issue does not settle every criticism. Start in OneCrew with the coordination record and confirmation email so the brand and creator know how to handle the next specific question.
